DM Recruitment are actively looking for a Kiosk Installation Technician to join a prestigious compnay in Newtown.
Pay; £28,000pa to £35,000pa
Days; Monday to Friday
Times; 8am until 5pm
Job Role;
Offer technical customer support, problem solving IT issues with kiosks and installing new equipment into new attractions and sports clubs in the UK.
Responsibilities;
Installation Management:
- Ensure Kiosks, Print Stations and displays are configured and available for rapid deployment
- Build new kiosks and display configurations. This includesApplying vinyl graphics o Adding safety stickers
- Performing a soak test
- Building display stands
- Updating kiosk register
- Utilising Trello to manage timely installs of Mymo equipment
- Managing component stock
- Manage installations in-line with agreed timeline, which includes
- Printer set up
- Display and samples assembled and ready
- Ensuring broadband at the site is configured correctly
- Install systems into customer’s site
- Training of staff at site - product assembly, printer consumables, FAQs and troubleshooting Manage any re-siting of kiosks
Service:
- Assist with updating and maintaining kiosk APP designs utilizing CSS software coding for styling and presentation
- Be included on an ‘out of hours’ support service
- Support sales and marketing team in getting organised for trade exhibitions • Load, deliver and ‘install’ at trade exhibitions
Reporting:
- Time log to control costs
- Log complaints
- Providing sales team with sales reports
General:
- Trialling new printer technologies and configurations
- Bring new ideas to improve systems for discussion
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and maintenance skills
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and schematics
- Proficient in welding and electrical systems
- Excellent command of the English language
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with clients
