Custodia Vitae is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, who are looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their team in Grantham.
What you could be doing...
- Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other commercial vehicles
- Carrying out regular inspections and preventive maintenance, including tyre rotations and oil changes
- Maintaining workshop inventory and ensuring the workspace is clean and safe
- Collaborating with repair teams to diagnose issues and plan effective repair solutions
- Keeping detailed records of vehicle maintenance and repair activities
- Providing on-road repair services for clients in case of emergencies
- Completing documentation for warranty claims and escalating issues as necessary
What we’re looking for...
- Industry qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Mechanical Engineering (Heavy Vehicle Qualification)
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician with a strong technical background
- Confidence using technology to support diagnostics and repairs
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service

This is a permanent role and you will be employed directly by the employer. The hours are rotating early and late shifts, with every other Saturday morning as overtime.
