Opus Vitae is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, who are looking for an experienced and dedicated Commercial Vehicle Body Builder to join their team in Trafford Park.
What you could be doing...
- Working independently to meet set timelines and quality standards
- Interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings and using your initiative to complete tasks
- Performing drilling, assembly (jigged and un-jigged), and using power tools safely and effectively
- Conducting MIG/TIG welding of fabricated parts in line with engineering drawings and company standards
- Installing insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies
- Carrying out basic wiring for lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles
- Fabricating components and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are stored correctly
- Adhering to health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance with company regulations
- Planning and prioritizing workload effectively with minimal supervision
What we’re looking for...
- Experience in fabrication, vehicle body assembly, and MIG/TIG welding
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes

This is a permanent role, and you will be employed directly by the employer. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with flexibility required for shift/rota work, as discussed during the interview.
